Our Preschool

There are many positive reasons for sending a child to preschool.  At First Christian Preschool we strive to provide an environment that is warm and welcoming.  Our classrooms are bright and inviting.  Our curriculum has been well-planned and is age-appropriate.  We understand that we are responsible for your child's first impression of school and we take that responsibility seriously.  Play is a child's "work" and it is through play that a child learns to be social, to solve problems, and to be independent and creative.

 

First Christian Preschool first opened its doors in 1952, and has been in continuous operation since. The preschool now offers Pre-Two, Two, Three, and Four year old classes and is in session from 9-12 noon. We also offer a Summer Camp program from 9-2 during the months of June and July.

At First Christian Preschool, we provide an environment that is warm and welcoming so that your child will feel safe and comfortable. We include Christian principles in our program to teach the children the Christian values of loving, sharing, and being kind to one another. Most of all, your child will have a lot of fun being involved in meaningful play. Play is a child's “work”, and it is through play that a child learns to be social, to solve problems, to be independent, and to be creative.

The staff of First Christian Preschool is dedicated to providing the foundation to encourage each child’s love of learning in a safe and nurturing environment. Our curriculum includes a Spanish program designed specifically for the 3 and 4 year old preschool students. Some of the activities all of our students are involved in are:
